With the DS8 True Biotic, Prodir sets a new standard for the use of sustainable materials. The entire casing (body, clip and push button) is made from plastic-free biopolymers (PHA) of biological origin, making it biodegradable. Microorganisms can synthesise PHA through fermentation and break it down in saltwater, freshwater and soil – they have been doing so for millions of years in all natural environments.
